About Me
Jessica Wilkinson – Wildlife Artist

Hello, I'm Jessica Wilkinson, a wildlife artist blending abstract and realistic techniques to create a distinctive, unique style in my work.
Art has always been a deep passion of mine. For as long as I can remember, I’ve taken every opportunity to draw and create. At 17, I attended art college, and to this day, my friends still remember me as “the artist.”
For many years, art was a side-hustle, with most of my time focused on commissions as they came. Eventually, I decided to take the leap and pursue art full-time—and I’ve never looked back. This decision has not only expanded my creative horizons but also allowed me to fully express the inspiration I’ve always carried.
Growing up in South Devon, I’ve been surrounded by vibrant colours, enchanting wildlife, and rich folklore—endless sources of inspiration for my work.
Although I love experimenting with various subjects, I’m particularly drawn to nature and animals. The diverse British countryside, with its stunning landscapes and wildlife, constantly fuels my creativity.
I’m a proud mother of three wonderful children and one energetic labrador. I encourage my children to engage with nature and explore their creativity. Together, we’ve built a pond, crafted bee and bug hotels, and even made fairy houses. Whether we’re hiking through the countryside or swimming in the river, I’m always finding new inspiration for my artwork and ways to connect with the moment.
For me, art is both a way of life and an escape—a means of expressing gratitude for the beauty in the world around us.
In my work, I strive to capture a sense of calm, natural beauty, and a hint of the spiritual. I feel incredibly fortunate to create pieces that evoke a range of emotions and resonate with others.
